Ongoing Projects
Our team is always looking ahead, working closely with local leaders to identify the most pressing needs and sustainable solutions.
Explore our current initiatives and see how we're making a lasting impact in Guatemala—one project at a time.

1. Improving Access to Clean Water
A water distribution system for the village of El Triunfo was a top priority. This project will include water tower maintenance, completion of the distribution network, installation of water meters, integration of solar power, and establishment of a local utility system. Guatemala Hope is actively seeking funding partners for this major initiative, including the local government's support, corporate donors, Rotary International grants, and partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The El Triunfo water project continues to make significant progress. The four roads closest to the water tower now have completed waterlines, shutoff hydrants, and individual water meters, helping ensure fair monthly payments based on usage. Guatemala and El Triunfo villagers will work together to complete the final four roads by extending waterlines and installing meters for each family connection. Restoration of the water tower is also nearing completion, including rust removal and treatment, new protective paint, a stronger ladder, structural reinforcement, and a new cover for the tower opening. These improvements will help ensure a safe, reliable, and sustainable water system for the community.

2. Improving Access to Healthcare
In January 2026, a comprehensive health survey was conducted to guide expanded services in El Triunfo. We are seeking new local partnerships to strengthen and increase use of the medical clinic. Each year, a dedicated medical team travels to the village to provide a 7-day clinic serving El Triunfo and surrounding communities. During the clinic, patients have access to comprehensive healthcare services, including consultations with nurses, physicians, pharmacists, and dentists. This annual outreach helps improve access to essential medical care for individuals and families.

3. Continue to Support Education
To ensure the long-term sustainability of our project, we are integrating culturally appropriate education into our clean water and health initiatives, as well as into the local education system.
