Ongoing Projects
Our team is always looking ahead, working closely with local leaders to identify the most pressing needs and sustainable solutions.

Explore our current initiatives and see how we're making a lasting impact in Guatemala—one project at a time.

1. Improving Access to Clean Water
A water distribution system for the village of El Triunfo was top priority. This project will include water tower maintenance, completion of the distribution network, installation of water meters, integration of solar power, and establishment of a local utility system. Guatemala Hope is actively seeking funding partners for this major initiative, including the local government's support, corporate donors, Rotary International grants, and partnerships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
In El Triunfo, most family wells remain contaminated, and only half the village is connected to water lines. The El Triunfo Water Tower, which tested 99.9% clean, is not yet fully operational. In January 2026, we conducted a sanitation and hygiene survey in El Triunfo to understand current conditions and help guide improvements that support better community health.

2. Improving Access to Healthcare
In January 2026, a comprehensive health survey was conducted to guide expanded services in El Triunfo. We are seeking new local partnerships to strengthen and increase use of the medical clinic.
Focus Areas:
-
First 1,000 Days of Life
-
Diabetes Management
-
Women’s Health

3. Continue to Support Education
To ensure the long-term sustainability of our project, we are integrating culturally appropriate education into our clean water and health initiatives, as well as into the local education system.
